Below are some of the poses or asanas that I lead during the classes. This is to give an idea of the physical alignment which will help you to get the most out of your practice.


Some tips to help children (or grown ups!) calm down when feeling busy or anxious. I welcome your feedback and comments, please feel free to share if you think someone else, or someone else's child, may benefit from taking a pause.

Surya Namaskara / Sun Salutations A sequence to warm and invigorate the body, normally practiced three or five times at the beginning of the session. (The sequence is pictured with the right leg leading, it would then be repeated with the left leg leading to complete a 'round' of sun salutations.)

 Take this pose with care and only after properly 'warming up'. Think more of this being a chest 'lift' rather than a bend of the back.
