Relax & Unwind

A time to pause with a slow and soft practice. The poses will have more of a restorative feel with the focus on resting and rejuvenating your body. There will be extra time for savasana (relaxation) at the end and a mindful practice of pranayama or breathing exercise to ensure you return home alert yet calm and relaxed. You are welcome to bring along any props that you need for your comfort.

A gentle flow, suitable for all, will include rounds of sun salutations. Elements of yogic philosophy will be woven through, as well as breathing exercises that will give you access to relaxation techniques. Each session will be finished with a period of relaxation, followed by a short period of meditation to help you find some stillness and calm in your everyday life, not just on the yoga mat.

The investment for the whole 5-week course will be £35. Individual classes can be booked, depending on availability, for £8.

Balearic Beats

Setting you up for your summer, join me for a flowing Vinyasa-style practice set to upbeat music.

For this session, you should have some experience of yoga and can expect to feel strong and energised, being fully in the moment with your body and breath using a flowing sequence of powerful poses. We will complete the practice with an extended period of relaxation and you will return home feeling empowered and calm.

This practice will be better suited to those who have a regular yoga practice and are familiar with the Sun Salutations / Surya Namaskar sequence.

Peak Posing

Each week the practice will work towards a particular pose. It might be a new pose for you or it might be one that you've taken many times, but perhaps experienced slightly differently.

The classes will suitable for all because I will always offer options and modifications. If you've been to my classes, you'll know there is never any expectation to create shapes with your body that do not feel comfortable. Elements of yogic philosophy will be woven through, as well as breathing exercises that will give you access to relaxation techniques. Pregnancy & Post-Natal Yoga

Yoga classes tailored towards a pregnant body of more than 14 weeks. Pre-natal yoga can ease common discomforts and can improve physical fitness during a time of rapid changes in the body. We will include relaxation techniques which you can practice in your own time to improve sleep quality and to prepare your body for birthing your baby. Yoga can be a great time to develop a bond with your unborn child and to meet other mothers-to-be in the local community.

You don’t need to have practiced yoga before; the poses are extremely slow and gentle and for this reason, these classes are also accessible for other non-pregnant women (although the focus and vocabulary will be entirely focused on prenatal concerns).

Working When Pregnant: Your Rights

Yoga off the mat; the philosophical side

The physical asana practice is only one eighth of the Eight Limbs of Yoga.

Join me for an evening each term to delve into the deeper side of yoga. Each session will be a relaxed and informal group where we can discuss ideas based around either a classical or contemporary text with like-minded people.

It seems fitting to begin these sessions with a discussion around the first of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Eight Limbs of Yoga.

As soon as you have reserved your space, I can point you towards the text we will be discussing and you can either borrow the book from your local library, use your own copy or I can supply you with the relevant information.

We will begin and finish with a short period of meditation to ground and centre yourself. You won’t need to bring your yoga mat, unless you want to, but I would suggest bringing a cushion, block or zafu for ease of sitting. Chill Out & Chant

(yoga and mantra)

Join me for a gentle, relaxing physical yoga sequence with breathing exercises and pranayama to open your heart and warm your body followed by a mantra yoga practice.

The chanting will be in a kirtan style, which means call and repeat. Of course, there is no obligation for you to take part in the chanting if it does not feel comfortable - you can still enjoy the benefits of the collective sound within the room as you maintain a relaxed state of mind. Traditionally, the sounds are copied or mimicked but a hand-out will be provided if it is easier for you to follow the words and to have an understanding of the chants with a brief description. Women’s Wellness

A six-week course of lunch-time classes beginning in January 2019 to celebrate the feminine.

The focus of the classes will be around the svadhistasana or sacral chakra, located near to the reproductive organs. It is said to govern menstrual health and fertility as well as being the source of our creativity and vibrancy.

All women are welcome for this fluid, gentle practice which will have poses to concentrate on mobility and stability of the spine, hips, abdomen and pelvic region. We will enjoy physical postures as well as elements of pranayama (breathing exercises), relaxation and meditation. Pregnant women (over 16 weeks) are welcome to enjoy this practice.

There will be an opportunity post-practice to enjoy a cup of tea and a chat with the group and with me to encourage a sense of community and support.

Women’s Circle

Women empower each other with their love and support.


Join me and other like-minded women of all ages in a small-sized community group in the style of a regular ‘red tent’ for setting intentions, letting go of things that no longer serve us and for generally celebrating all the aspects of what it means to be a woman. This practice will incorporate things such a short gentle yoga practice, meditation and healthy discussion and celebration of our monthly cycles and patterns.


Women of all ages from teens to pre- or post-menopausal women are invited and welcomed. Our unique experiences and lessons are all valid; we pick up so much valuable information that deserves to be passed onto the younger generation of females, whether we are mothers or not.

Tri-Weekly Quiet Club

Life can be hectic and the chatter of your mind can become noisy. A regular practise of purposeful silence can provide you with clarity and focus during busy times and studies have proven that you can begin to enjoy many things including a better self awareness, better sleep quality, increased levels of happiness and physiologically, better cardiovascular and immune health. It is even commonly accepted that reduced amounts of stress in the body can slow the rate of ageing.

Come along for a short period of stillness, concentration or meditation with a small group of like-minded people. There will be some very gentle movement and focus on the breath but no experience of yoga or meditation is necessary. Booking is essential and places are limited because I would like to keep this as a smaller group.  Please wear comfortable clothing and bring along a cushion, bolster or yoga brick for ease of sitting. Chairs are available if you are not comfortable to sit on the floor.

Children's Yoga

Exposing children to yoga from a young age and in a school setting can be hugely beneficial in terms of introducing non-competitive exercise, improving the quality of a child's sleep, better concentration and the ability to form meaningful relationships.

If you work in a school and are interested to introduce yoga sessions to your children, please complete a registration form and I will gladly send you some more information.

There are currently no after school children's yoga courses. If you would like to register your interest, please complete a registration form and I will contact you in due course. You are also able to get in touch for information on group yoga sessions for children's or yoga parties
